Your spots stay yours
The exact location goes out only if you chose it. Otherwise people see an area of about half a kilometre.
Three levels
Every catch has a level: Private, Following or Public, and you can change it any time. Your first catch starts as Public, and after that each new catch starts at the level you used last. Catches imported from the gallery stay Private.
Approximate or exact
The exact location is published only if you pick Exact. Otherwise the catch carries a position rounded to a cell of about half a kilometre, and the true position stays in a store only you can read. A place name that is only coordinates is rounded too.
What others see
The feed and the Area tab show public catches only. Nothing anyone can buy unlocks another angler's spots, and the map's heat layer is your own catches.

- If I shared as Public, is my exact spot visible?
- No, unless you also picked Exact. Otherwise a cell of about half a kilometre is.
- Does Premium unlock other people's spots?
- No. There is no such thing in the app.
