A forecast for how you fish
Wind, waves, pressure and tide for ten days, and above them the hours that suit your platform.
Where the data comes from
The forecast comes from Open-Meteo: the weather, and beside it the sea: waves, swell, sea temperature and tide, computed from sea-level height. Tide is available worldwide but coarse near the coast: good for the trend and the peak times, not for navigation.
The forecast runs ten days. Free shows three.
Under the platform row a line says how far away, and in which direction, the sea-data cell the waves and tide come from is.
Six platforms, three states
The platform is how you fish: shore, boat, kayak, wading, ice or spearfishing. With no platform the forecast is plain weather. With a platform and no profile, the same screen invites you to set thresholds.
With a platform and a profile the good hours appear: each day card says how many, and the chart marks them.
What makes an hour good
The profile is a list of thresholds: max wind, max wave height, a water-temperature range, max precipitation chance, weather you avoid (thunderstorm, heavy rain and more) and the times of day you prefer. For every hour in the forecast the app checks all of them, and marks only an hour where all hold.
You can start from a starter profile for each platform, or build the profile from your own catches.
Sun and moon
The sun and moon panel shows each day's primary and secondary solunar windows. With a profile, the windows are filtered so only those overlapping the good hours remain.
Lakes, rivers and reservoirs
The app detects fresh water from the saved spot's category, from the place name, or from the distance to the nearest sea-data cell. On fresh water the waves, swell and tide are hidden and a freshwater note appears.

- As good as the model behind it. Wind, pressure and waves come from Open-Meteo; tide is computed from sea-level height, so near the coast it suits the trend and the peak times, not navigation.

- A platform and a profile with thresholds. A starter profile applies in one tap and can be tuned later.
- How many days ahead?
- Ten on Premium, three on Free.
